FAQs
Mixing is balancing individual tracks (like vocals, drums, and instruments) into a cohesive and polished final version of a song. Mastering, on the other hand, is the final step in the production process where the mixed track is optimized for distribution, ensuring consistency, clarity, and the right loudness level for your song.
It depends on my project workload and the amount of tracks on your song. More complex productions with multiple layers take longer to mix. Usually delivery will take around 5-7 business days. Reach out to me using the contact form if you are on a short deadline!
A good mix and mastering ensures that your song sounds good wherever your listeners are playing your music, wether it's on Airpods, in the car or on a bluetooth speaker.
If you want your vocals manually tuned, you should choose the melodyne option. Melodyne is the industry standard in music production vocal processing, pretty much every vocal on the top charts is manually edited with Melodyne. A good Melodyne job can usually go unnoticed, while still enhancing the pitch of the performance, while Autotune is more of a noticeable effect (though sometimes desireable).
Of course! Included are three free revisions to make sure the song is just as you want it.
Please send your tracks in high-resolution WAV or AIFF format, preferably at 24-bit and 44.1kHz or higher. Ensure that each track is properly labeled and exported from the start of the session to ensure everything aligns correctly.
